Each month Mayor Bill Bogaard highlights a local organization and hosts a 3-mile community walk at the Rose Bowl.

Don't miss the raffle during the May walk! We will be raffling VERY GENEROUS donations the Rose Bowl Aquatic Center. As always, there will be t-shirts, pedometers, and other goodies as well.

Meet about 7.30 a.m. -- Walk begins promptly at 7:45 a.m.

Volunteer Opportunity

Up and Moving Pasadena is a community wide collaborative effort to promote fitness for health. Our signature event is the monthly Walk with the Mayor, hosted by Pasadena mayor Bill Bogaard. We collaborate with the Pasadena Marathon to promote year round fitness for Pasadena families.

Up and Moving Pasadena is seeking an enthusiastic volunteer to assist with promotion and implementation of our events. The opportunity to create future events and collaborations is great.

Interested individuals should be:

Passionate about fitness and community health promotion
Available to contribute at least ten hours per month
Well organized and able to work independently
Usually available on the first Wednesday of each month from 7:30-9:00 AM
